About BlackRoll — Italian Beatbox Champion & Beatbox Teacher
BlackRoll, aka Alberto Niero, is an Italian beatboxer from Veneto. He discovered beatboxing in middle school after being impressed by a demonstration in class, and immediately became passionate about this vocal discipline. In 2017, he participated in his first beatboxing gathering, a defining experience that prompted him to train intensively to improve.
He began his career as part of the duo Black Jack, winning the Italian championship in 2019, before going solo. His rapid progress led him to major titles: Italian champion, 3rd place at the GBB 25 – World League, European vice-champion and winner of several international competitions, placing him among the most respected rising talents on the world stage.
Although he is not the most imposing figure, BlackRoll stands out for his impressive stage presence, combining energy, technical mastery, and powerful bass tones. Today, he is one of the strongest voices in contemporary beatboxing.
These workshops were recorded Live at the Florida Beatbox Festival Workshop — April 2026 and at the French Beatbox Championships – December 2025
The Florida Beatbox Festival is a 2-days annual festival 100% dedicated to the art of Human Beatbox.
Initiated by Tioneb (BOSS Loop Station World Champion 2012 & world-known musician) and a team of beatbox enthusiasts, this festival is usually divided into two parts:
The first day is more reserved for beatbox concerts and artistic restitutions whereas the world known battle and Lyrebird exclusive workshops as well take place on the second day.
The second part of this course was recorded during the French Beatbox Championships 2025.
This exclusive event is organised by Beatbox France, a collective of beatbox enthusiasts working to develop French beatboxing on a national and international scale.
We take advantage of this event to hold exclusive workshops for all levels. Whether you’re just learning your very first sounds or looking to perfect your beatboxing technique, we want to help you to take your skills to the next level.
